 Dr. Fukata arrived at lecturer. He is activing in the center of Special Projects of Univ. of Tsukuba for NANOSCIENCE.

 
Oct. 31, 2001 
  The international Conference Of Laser Ablation(COLA'01http://cola.ims.tsukuba.ac.jp) was held in the Tsukuba international conference hall. Prof. Murakami is one of co-chairs at COLA. There is participation of about 50 oral presentations and about 200 poster presentations and it had much active discussion. We presentated 4 titles.

Oct. 31, 2001 
 The international symposium about laser (LASE2002) will be held in San Jose, the United States, in January, 2002. International symposium of laser and nanotechnology(Nanoscience Using Laser-Solid Interactions) is carried out in LASE2002. Prof. Murakami is one of co-chairs in it.
